Originally a 19th century villa, this carefully restored hotel is immersed in the green hilly landscape of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, amongst olive-trees and orchards. The hotel was once the residence of the renowned Neapolitan jurist and philosopher Francesco Pepe who, in 1861 chose it as an ideal spot to relax. The stylish property is divided on 3 floors and boasts an excellent range of facilities. Lap up the luxurious comfort of the vibrant interiors; sip drinks in the bar, sample a host of cuisine in the sophisticated restaurant, unwind in the grandeur of the spacious lounge, dip into the pool and stroll round the pretty gardens. The restaurant, Ristorante Sala dei Sogni, is found in the Hotel Hermitage, Villa Romita's sister hotel. This pleasant, air conditioned restaurant, with a lovely marble floor, offers an informal atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff, in which you can enjoy traditional local cuisine. Chef specialties include fresh pasta. Once a week there is a gala dinner with live music. All types of menu are available, including vegetarian, children's, and special allergies menu.
